Bloom Digital is an organically obsessed, SEO-focused digital and design agency based in Subiaco. With marketers, designers and developers all under one roof, we're big enough to work with exciting brands, but small enough that everyone genuinely influences our direction.

The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced digital marketing professional already in a leadership position to lead, develop and grow our blooming digital team.

You’ll manage key client relationships while helping shape the future of our digital offering, embracing AI, emerging technologies and innovative, client-focused strategies.

This is a permanent, full-time, in-house role, available as we prepare for planned maternity leave within our leadership team. It’s a rare opportunity to step into an established, high-performing team with genuine influence over our people, clients and future direction.

What you'll do

- Lead, support and develop our digital marketing team while maintaining Bloom’s culture of respect, growth and teamwork.
- Manage your own portfolio of key retainer clients, acting as a senior strategic partner to their businesses.
- Shape the future direction of Bloom’s digital services and product offerings.
- Champion innovation across AI, emerging marketing technologies,



automation and internal processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve how we work, both for our team and our clients.
- Contribute to Bloom’s own marketing and wider team initiatives.
- Help win, retain and grow strategic client partnerships.
- Report directly to the Director while working collaboratively with our leadership team.

Who you are

- Currently or recently employed in a Head of Digital, Digital Director or similar leadership role, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a digital agency.
- A compassionate team leader with proven experience leading successful, happy and high-performing teams.
- Commercially minded, with a strong understanding of what makes both clients and agencies successful.
- Experienced in managing a large portfolio of retainer clients across a range of industries simultaneously.
- An exceptional verbal and written communicator, comfortable communicating with people from a wide range of cultural and language backgrounds.
- Strategic and forward-thinking, while still willing to get hands-on when your team or clients need you.
- A true marketing professional who genuinely lives and breathes the craft.
- Calm under pressure and leads with empathy.

Your skills

- Expert-level knowledge of SEO and digital advertising, particularly across Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn and Meta.
- Advanced expertise in developing and leading integrated digital strategies.
- Advanced knowledge of Google’s suite of tools, including GA4, GTM and GSC.
- Strong experience across a range of CRM and CMS platforms.
- Highly capable with AI and prompt engineering,



with a genuine drive to explore emerging technologies and find smarter ways of working.

- Professional leadership training or relevant certifications.
- Implementing AI, automation or process improvements within an agency environment.
