The Role
St Peter’s Girls’ School is seeking an inspirational and experienced educational leader to provide strategic and operational leadership of its Junior School.
Reporting directly to the Principal and as a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead the vision and future direction of the Junior School, fostering a culture of belonging, high expectations and continuous improvement.
This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for an accomplished educator who can inspire people, strengthen educational practice and build meaningful connections across the School community.

The Opportunity In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic and operational leadership of the Reception to Year 6 Junior School
- Champion contemporary teaching, learning and student wellbeing
- Lead, develop and inspire staff through skilled learning, coaching and mentoring
- Use research, data and evidence to drive educational improvement and innovation
- Build strong relationships with students,
families and the wider School community
- Contribute strategically as a member of the School’s Senior Leadership Team
You Are
- An accomplished educational leader with demonstrated experience leading school improvement
- A relational and values-driven leader who builds trust, connection and community
- Passionate about contemporary pedagogy, curriculum innovation and student wellbeing
- Skilled in developing high-performing teams and building leadership capability
- A strategic thinker who can translate vision into effective practice
- Committed to creating an inclusive environment where every student is known, supported and empowered to thrive
Experience with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and postgraduate qualifications in Educational Leadership, Primary Education or a related field will be highly regarded.
