WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS – As Head of Key Accounts & Consortia (AUNZ)



you will work with the Director of Sales AUNZ to develop and execute national Key Account and Consortia strategies to exceed sales targets and deliver measurable growth across NCL’s most valuable trade partners.

With a focus on centralising ownership of high-value accounts, commercial strategy, and scalable execution, this role will lead head office relationships across Key Accounts and Consortia, and act as the strategic owner of Joint Business Planning (JBP), commercial frameworks, and performance governance nationally.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Own and lead end-to-end commercial negotiations across contracted Key Accounts and consortia, including annual agreements, co‑op/MDF investment, marketing frameworks, and performance structures
- Develop and implement national strategies to exceed bookings, revenue (NTR), and yield targets across the portfolio
- Lead national Joint Business Planning (JBP) processes across the portfolio, aligning mutual performance objectives, targets, and growth levers
- Lead national Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), including performance analysis, pipeline review, ROI evaluation, and corrective action planning across the portfolio
- Define partner tiering frameworks and align investment strategies based on performance, growth potential, and strategic importance
- Work with Territory Sales Managers to ensure alignment between national strategy and in-market execution across all regions
- Monitor and report on partner performance including bookings, revenue, yield (APD), store productivity, and marketing ROI




- Identify underperformance at partner or network level and implement targeted activation strategies
- Drive national frameworks for training, events, merchandising, and engagement in collaboration with PRT and Trade Marketing
- Lead senior stakeholder engagement across partner head offices, conferences, and industry forums
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Revenue Management, Commercial and Finance to optimise performance outcomes
- Ensure all account activity and reporting is maintained within CRM systems as the single source of truth

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Marketing, Management or Tourism preferred
- 10+ years’ experience relevant experience in Travel, Cruise or a related industry
- Proven experience in Key Account leadership and Consortia management
- Strong commercial negotiation and contract management experience
- Experience working across national or multi-region sales structures
- Strong leadership and influencing capability without direct authority
- Deep understanding of AUNZ trade landscape and partner structures
- Highly analytical mindset, with strong commercial acumen
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
