Must-Have Skills:
- 6–7+ years of hands-on Ab Initio development
- Strong experience building Batch and/or Continuous Flow graphs/plans
- Graph performance tuning and optimisation
- Source control and code promotion in Ab Initio
- Strong SQL skills with any RDBMS
- Basic Shell scripting
- Good understanding of database, computing and networking concepts
- Production issue troubleshooting
- Graph design based on business scenarios
- Rollup & Scan components
- Parallelism & partitioning
- Control Center scheduling & dependencies
- AIR commands & EME object management
- Express>IT / BRE rule implementation
- Query>IT / Data Catalogue
- Parameter files & sandbox setup
- Agile team experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred:
- Real-time applications & API-driven development
- Continuous Flows experience / robust conceptual knowledge
- Cloud-hosted Ab Initio solutions
- Secure coding practices
