HR Administrator
We are seeking applications for an HR Administrator to provide high quality HR administration support to CKI clients across the employee and contractor lifecycle. This role will be best suited to someone looking to grow their HR career, or an experienced administrator who enjoys working with people, systems and processes in a busy client-focused environment.

The Role
This role is all about providing practical, accurate and responsive HR administration support. Working with CKI clients and internal stakeholders, you will assist with the day-to-day administration that keeps HR processes running smoothly, including onboarding, offboarding, induction coordination, HRIS and client systems set up, compliance tracking and employee records management. You will be supporting different client environments, so the ability to stay organised, follow processes, manage competing priorities and communicate professionally with a range of stakeholders will be key. Experience with Employment Hero will be highly regarded.
Main role responsibilities include
- Provide day-to-day HR administration support to managers, employees, independent contractors and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate onboarding activities including employment documentation, collection of required information, HRIS profile creation and liaison with hiring managers and client contacts.
- Support offboarding processes including employment end administration, exit checklists, system updates, return of property tracking and employee records updates.
- Coordinate induction activities and help ensure new starters receive the information, access and support they need.
- Support IT and systems set up processes, including coordinating requests for email, user access, equipment, HRIS access and other client-specific systems.
- Maintain accurate employee and contractor records across HRIS platforms, client systems and internal tracking tools.
- Monitor, track and follow up compliance requirements including right to work checks, licences, qualifications, police checks, working with children checks, mandatory training and other role or client-specific requirements.
- Assist with HRIS administration, including Employment Hero employee profiles, workflows, document management, onboarding tasks and compliance tracking.
- Prepare routine reports, trackers and status updates as required.
- Respond to routine HR administration queries in a timely, professional and client-focused manner.

You will be comfortable working with systems, following established processes and escalating issues when needed. A friendly,
professional communication style and love of problem solving are also essential qualities.
Key Selection Criteria
Mandatory:
- Minimum 2 years experience in HR administration
- Robust HR administration experience and understanding of typical HR lifecycle processes
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional, responsive communication style
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Strong personal organisation, time management and ability to manage competing priorities across multiple clients
- Confidence using HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office and online workflow tools
- Ability to pick up new systems quickly and follow client-specific processes accurately
- Sound judgement, discretion and ability to manage confidential information appropriately
- Problem solver with a proactive, can-do attitude able to work in a fast-paced environment
Desirable:
- Diploma or qualification in HR
- Experience with Employment Hero will be highly regarded
