The Ramsay Pharmacy Internship Program is designed to equip interns with the foundational knowledge, skills and confidence required to become capable and skilled pharmacists.

- Comprehensive support as you work towards achieving your supervised practice hours, helping you develop your pharmacy knowledge and practical skills.

Your Role

- Work alongside experienced pharmacists to accurately dispense medications, support medication management and provide medication information to patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support seamless patient care and contribute to day-to-day pharmacy operations.
- Maintain compliance with regulations and ethical guidelines while prioritising patient safety and confidentiality.

Nambour Selangor Private Hospital Nambour Selangor Private Hospital offers Pharmacy Interns the opportunity to develop their skills within a supportive private hospital environment on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. Located in Nambour, the hospital provides a range of services, including rehabilitation and other specialist care, giving interns valuable exposure to hospital pharmacy practice and multidisciplinary patient care.

As part of Ramsay Health Care, interns can benefit from a collaborative team environment, ongoing professional development and the opportunity to build a strong foundation for a career in hospital pharmacy. The role is ideal for an intern looking to gain practical experience while working closely with pharmacists, clinicians and other healthcare professionals to support high-quality patient care.

- Confidence to make informed decisions and take ownership of your practice

Eligibility Criteria

- Full working rights in Australia or Current Zealand
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification (this must be completed before commencing internship)
- Be provisionally registered with AHPRA by early 2027.
- Available for a minimum of 12 months full-time employment
