The role:
We are looking for an IT Specialist to manage and maintain EPX’s IT infrastructure, documentation, policies and procedures, while providing practical technical support to internal stakeholders. This role plays a key part in keeping our systems secure, reliable and efficient across our global operations, supporting cybersecurity compliance, user access, enterprise applications and day-to-day IT service delivery.
What you’ll do:
- Administer and maintain servers, cloud services, enterprise applications, hardware and software systems.
- Monitor system performance, manage IT tickets, run diagnostics and maintenance, and support reliable system uptime.
- Manage user access permissions, including onboarding staff onto IT systems and supporting identity management processes.
- Support cybersecurity and compliance by evaluating risks, monitoring security protocols, and helping protect company data and systems.
- Maintain IT policies, procedures and technical documentation in partnership with the Head of IT, Manufacturing & Compliance.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for hardware, software and network issues, including support by phone, email and in person.
- Train and guide staff on IT tools, cybersecurity awareness and best-practice use of company systems.
- Prepare technical reports, KPIs and updates for senior stakeholders in clear, business-friendly language.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, with relevant IT certifications preferred.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration and end-user support roles.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory,
Microsoft Intune, Exchange, cloud platforms and enterprise applications.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy, firewalls, protocols, backups, networking and device management.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across Windows, macOS, Linux, network environments and cloud-based administration tools.
- Strong documentation, analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive, collaborative and organised approach, with the ability to prioritise work across multiple regions and time zones.
