? We’re Hiring: IT Support Officer
? Employment Type: Full-Time
? Level: Entry-Level to Mid-Level
We are seeking a reliable, customer-focused, and technically capable IT Support Officer to provide day-to-day technical assistance and ensure smooth IT operations across the organization.
? Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level technical support to employees and users.
- Respond to IT support requests through ticketing systems, email, phone, and chat.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network issues.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, and IT equipment.
- Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and business applications.
- Assist with user account creation, password resets, permissions, and access management.
- Monitor and manage IT support tickets and ensure timely resolution.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT teams or external vendors.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding IT requirements.
- Perform software updates, system maintenance, and basic security checks.
- Assist with network connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN, and basic infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, incidents, and service requests.
- Maintain IT documentation, knowledge bases, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Provide basic technical guidance and training to employees.
- Support IT projects, system upgrades, deployments, and technology improvements.
✅ Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and networking.
- Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common business applications.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, VPN,
and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with IT ticketing or help desk systems is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong willingness to learn recent technologies and IT systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or similar certifications are an advantage.
- Fresh graduates with relevant technical knowledge or internship experience are welcome to apply.
