Role Description The Junior Software Developer (Entry-Level / Associate) role at AUTC Trading L.L.C. is a part time, remote position focused on supporting the development and maintenance of internal software tools and web-based systems. Day-to-day tasks include writing and testing code for back-end components, fixing bugs, and assisting in the implementation of new features under the guidance of senior developers. Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge in Computer Science and Software Development, including understanding of algorithms, data structures,
and basic software lifecycle concepts.
- Skills in Back-End Web Development and Programming, with experience using at least one server-side language or framework.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and ability to apply them in writing clean, maintainable code.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly, follow coding standards, and work effectively with remote teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and basic experience with version control tools (e.g., Git).
- Relevant academic background or training in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; internship or project experience is an advantage.
