The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping KAHs sustainability and climate reporting framework. In this position, you will lead compliance with Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS), oversee the preparation and delivery of annual AASB S2 Climate-related Financial Disclosures, and drive best-practice sustainability governance across six small to medium sized entities. Working closely with sustainability, finance and executive stakeholders, you will establish reporting frameworks, coordinate climate-related data collection and assurance processes, support executive level reporting, and help ensure regulatory compliance.
This role offers broad exposure across six entities, the opportunity to influence strategic decision-making, and occasional travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead KAHs climate reporting and ASRS compliance across multiple entities.
- Deliver annual AASB S2 climate-related financial disclosures and executive level reporting.
- Drive climate risk, materiality assessments and sustainability reporting initiatives.
- Oversee emissions data governance, reporting integrity and external assurance.
- Partner with leaders across Finance, Risk, Legal, Operations and People &
- Culture.
- Monitor emerging sustainability regulations and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Manage external consultants and key sustainability projects.
- Manage data systematically for all entities.
- Shape sustainability strategy and champion continuous improvement across the business.
Role Located: Wacol, Brisbane or Welshpool, Perth Roster: Monday –
- Friday 38 hours per week
Please note: This position is offered as a 2-year fixed-term contract
What we are looking for:
- 7+ years' experience in sustainability reporting, environmental science, risk, finance or a related field.
- Proven experience delivering climate-related disclosures aligned to TCFD, ISSB, IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards or similar frameworks.
- Experience leading complex reporting projects and engaging multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of assurance, audit and regulatory compliance requirements. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear business outcomes. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to influence senior leaders.
- Advanced reporting, data analysis and Excel capabilities.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CFA or equivalent are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as required.
