Laboratory Technician (Level 1) - Nagambie
Recruitment Select is currently seeking an experienced Level 1 Laboratory Technician to join a well-established and highly respected organisation based in Nagambie. This is a casual position offering 38 hours per week, with successful applicants required to work a rotating shift roster.
Shift Times
- Day Shift: 7:00am to 3:00pm
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm to 11:00pm
- Night Shift: 11:00pm to 7:00am
About the Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting product testing to determine chemical and physical characteristics
- Recording and maintaining accurate test results
- Preparing bottling-related documentation and forms
- Calibrating laboratory equipment and instruments
- Maintaining calibration and testing records
- Preparing chemical solutions as required
- Monitoring and maintaining laboratory samples
- Coordinating and preparing samples for external client analysis
- Ensuring compliance with all food safety standards and procedures
About You
To be successful in this role,
you will possess:
- Previous experience as a Level 1 Laboratory Technician
- A positive, enthusiastic, and motivated attitude
- Robust attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts
- Reliable transport
- Full working rights within Australia
- The ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Assessment
- A current National Police Check
