About the role

Based in our CTP Hub, you will provide support to various solicitors across the CTP practice, gaining valuable insight into the day-to-day work involved in personal injury claims.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Arranging medical appointments and managing client diaries
- Drafting correspondence and other legal documentation
- Reviewing client files and contacting clients to obtain instructions
- Assisting with drafting client statements
- Drafting applications on behalf of clients to the Personal Injury Commission
- Preparing submissions in relation to medical disputes
- Drafting letters of instruction to medical practitioners
- Supporting solicitors with file management and general administrative tasks
- Collaborating with various solicitors across the CTP practice

About you

We are looking for a law student who is keen to gain meaningful practical experience and develop a career in personal injury law.

You will ideally have:

- Current tertiary study in Law
- A genuine interest in personal injury law
- Strong written and verbal communication skills




- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- The ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence communicating with clients professionally and empathetically
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous legal administration, clerk or paralegal experience is advantageous but not essential
