We are seeking experienced manufacturing machine operators to join a busy manufacturing facility based in Crestmead, working within a production team responsible for the manufacture and packaging of specialist cable products.

These are temp-to-perm opportunities with a well-established manufacturer offering ongoing training, career progression and stable employment for reliable operators with previous manufacturing experience.

Requirements for this position

- Previous machine operating experience within a manufacturing setting
- Current Forklift Licence (mandatory)
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn detailed manufacturing processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products
- Ability to work within a fast-paced production environment
- Physically fit and capable of regularly lifting 20kg+
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
- Driver's licence and reliable transport
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen
- Cable manufacturing experience highly regarded but not essential





Tasks involved in this role

- Machine setup, operation and shutdown
- Operating multiple production machines throughout the manufacturing process
- Monitoring product quality and maintaining production accuracy
- Packing finished products for quality assurance testing
- Working closely with the production team to achieve daily targets
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Following all safety, quality and operational procedures
- Assisting with general factory and production duties as required

Pay details and conditions

- Day Shift: $33.00/hr
- Afternoon/Night Shift: $46.20/hr
- 38-hour week worked across 4 days (Fridays off)
- Weekly rotating roster – one week days, one week nights
- Overtime paid for any hours worked outside rostered shifts
- Training provided
- Long-term temp-to-perm opportunity
