We are seeking a proactive and relationship-focused Member Services & Events Executive to deliver outstanding experiences for our members through the coordination of high-quality events, stakeholder engagement, and day-to-day member support.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in events, customer service, member engagement, or professional services who is looking to build a rewarding career within a corporate environment.

About The Role

Reporting to the New Zealand Country Manager, you will play a key role in supporting member engagement across the region. You'll be responsible for delivering a diverse portfolio of events and professional development activities while acting as a trusted first point of contact for members, volunteers, committees, and key stakeholders.

You'll thrive in a varied role that combines event management, relationship building, administration, and operational support. Standard business hours apply, with occasional after-hours attendance required for events and meetings. Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) is provided for any additional hours worked. No weekend work is required.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver a range of member events, including conferences, seminars, webinars, workshops, and networking functions.
- Coordinate end-to-end event logistics, budgets, and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful outcomes.
- Support and administer member committees, councils, and discussion groups.
- Act as a key point of contact for member enquiries, providing exceptional service and support.
- Promote membership, events, and services to drive engagement and participation.
- Assist with member communications, including event promotions, newsletters, and updates.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the Auckland office.





You are highly organised, customer-focused, and passionate about delivering exceptional experiences. You enjoy working with a broad range of stakeholders and can confidently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Whether your background is in events, membership services, professional services, or customer experience, you bring a strong commitment to service excellence and relationship management.

What You'll Bring

- Experience coordinating and delivering events from planning through to execution
- A strong customer, member, or stakeholder service mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
- Experience managing budgets, invoices, and expense tracking
- Ability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Confidence using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and collaborative working style
- Membership organisation, association, or professional services experience will be highly regarded
