About the Prospect
Are you seeking and immediate Casual Merchandiser with an eye for detail and ready to join our dynamic team. LINCOLN, a proud, family-owned business established in 1994, is looking for a dynamic Multiskilled Merchandiser to join our growing team.
This role offers approximately 2 to 5 days per week with flexible days and hours to suit your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
Ideally, you will have at least 1 year of merchandising and refit/relay experience. Prior experience within retail or the hardware channel is a major plus!
- Merchandising Excellence: Maintain client product ranges strictly in line with store plan-o-grams.
- Refit/Relay: Execute full bay strip-outs, structural bay builds, and product relays. De-stocking shelves, performing physical shelf adjustments, and assembling steel racking or displays strictly to planogram and retailer standards.
- Stock Management: Ensure stock in bays is completely full by down-filling from hand stock and other store locations.
- Sales Maximization: Secure prominent off-location displays of key product lines to maximize consumer sales.
- Presentation Standards: Ensure client stock is on display in a clean,
saleable condition with all price labels positioned to the retailer's standard.
- Inventory Control: Manage store stock levels in line with retailer expectations and seasonal variations.
Our ideal candidate possesses:
- Planogram Expertise: Proven experience executing planograms is essential.
- Industry Familiarity: Prior experience working within Bunnings is highly preferred, though not essential.
- Physical Fitness: Comfort with the physical demands of retail merchandising, refits/relays including moving stock and working up and down ladders.
- Mindset: A positive, "can-do" attitude backed by strong problem-solving capabilities and a sharp attention to detail.
- Flexibility: Available for occasional outer-metropolitan fringes to regional area travel due to the geographic spread of our network across Brisbane to Rockhampton during refit/relays. This includes staying away from home for 2 to 5 consecutive days depending on the size of the store relay.
