About the role

We are seeking a skilled and professional MR Truck Driver to join the team at Adelaide Contract Warehousing. This is a full-time/casual position based in Edinburgh North, SA 5113. As an MR Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in our warehousing, storage and distribution operations, ensuring that goods are transported safely and efficiently to our customers.

Your responsibility will be to operate medium rigid vehicles, manage loads professionally, and maintain the highest standards of safety and customer service. This position is essential to the smooth running of our logistics operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key responsibilities

- Operate medium rigid (MR) vehicles safely and legally in accordance with all relevant road transport legislation and company policies
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe working order
- Load, secure and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage and ensure compliance with weight distribution regulations
- Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer requirements and deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel consumption, mileage and vehicle condition
- Communicate professionally with customers, warehouse staff and management regarding delivery status and any issues
- Comply with all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment and adherence to fatigue management regulations
- Maintain a clean and organised vehicle at all times
- Report any mechanical issues or vehicle damage promptly to management
- Contribute to a positive and safety-conscious workplace culture

What we're looking for

- Valid MR (Medium Rigid) truck driving licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as an MR truck driver in logistics, warehousing or distribution environments
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, load securing requirements and fatigue management laws




- Excellent vehicle handling skills and the ability to operate safely in various traffic and weather conditions
- Reliability and punctuality, with a strong commitment to meeting delivery schedules
- Skilled communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks as required
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate documentation
- A commitment to workplace health and safety standards
- Experience with loading and unloading white goods will be highly regarded.
