Remuneration: $1,522.06 - $1,788.52 per week + 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

NEW YEAR GRADUATE POSITIONS

Number of positions: 16 first year graduate positions across all hospitals in SWSLHD

Type of positions: These positions are full time for a period of 12 months

NB: Bankstown Hospital are recruiting 2 x 24 month contracts

Dates of employment: 08/02/2027 to 04/02/2028

The hospitals that will be involved in this recruitment process include:

- Bankstown Hospital (2 positions)
- Camden and Campbelltown Hospitals (4 positions including secondment to Bowral Hospital)
- Fairfield Hospital (2 positions including secondment to Braeside Hospital)
- Liverpool Hospital (8 positions including secondment to Grafton Base Hospital)

Who can apply: Current physiotherapy students who are scheduled to complete tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy by the end of the 2026 academic year and obtain AHPRA registration by February 2027.

This can also include any physiotherapy students from universities that are scheduled for mid-year graduation in 2026 and eligible for AHPRA registration.

Preference given to candidates with Australian Work Rights (Australian Citizenship or Permanent residency)

Opportunity to preference top 2 hospitals where you would like to work in 2027 will occur during the application process.

DROP IN INFORMATION SESSIONS

SWSLHD physiotherapy will be holding a number of virtual drop-in sessions via zoom.



This will be a great opportunity to speak with physiotherapy staff in each department including graduates, seniors and managers.

Each hospital will have a representative at each zoom session and you will be able to move between breakout rooms and find out more specific information about each hospital.

- Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Please preference your top 2 sites you would prefer to be recruited to.
- Demonstrated broad range of relevant physiotherapy clinical skills and experience
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication, computer skills and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional development, including the ability to respond to and incorporate feedback into physiotherapy practice
