Stepping out of uni into your first allied health role is a big leap, our graduate program is built to support you through it from day one, at a pace that works for you.
As a Graduate Speech Pathologist with Gen Physio, you'll get broad exposure across community practice, functional communication assessments, early intervention, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), dysphagia support, mental health support, rehabilitation, and virtual care! So you can find and grow the areas you love.
Location: Mobile community caseload built around your home suburb — seeking candidates based in Gold Coast.
How We Support Our Graduate Speech Pathologists
- Structured 6-week onboarding to help you find your feet and set up for success
- Gradual caseload progression at your pace, with built-in admin time to review and reflect
- 1:1 supervision with experienced in-house Speech Pathology Supervisors
- Group supervision with the wider Gen Physio Speech Pathology team across QLD & VIC
- Regular skills assessments to build your caseload around your interests
- MDT catch-ups with Physios, OTs, PODs, Dietitians and Exercise Physiologists
- Client Services support to manage bookings as you grow your caseload

What do you need to have?
- Tertiary qualifications (Completion of an approved Bachelor or Master of Speech Pathology)
- Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership (or eligibility)
- Drivers license & vehicle
- National Police Check, First Aid, and CPR (or willing to obtain)
- Public Indemnity (PI) Insurance with a minimum of $10m cover (or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Workers screening (or willing to obtain)
- Appropriate working rights
