About the Role

We are representing a highly regarded Australian manufacturer supplying complex, engineered equipment to international markets. With a strong reputation for quality and long-standing client relationships, the business is entering a phase where operational alignment and scalability are key.

As Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the entire operational function, overseeing production, engineering coordination, and cross-department performance. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will streamline processes, implement structure, and ensure cohesion between departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day operations across production, engineering and business functions
- Introduce structure, planning, and scheduling across manufacturing processes
- Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to improve output and efficiency
- Oversee production teams across assembly and fabrication environments
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships including major clients

What You’ll Bring





- Extensive experience (15+ years) within Australian manufacturing environments
- Robust operational leadership background in complex production settings
- Proven experience implementing lean and process improvement strategies
- Engineering qualification preferred, with MBA highly regarded
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage cross-functional teams
