Dyson & Long are an independent locally owned optometry practice, established in Bairnsdale in 1990. The practice provides extensive eyecare services including diagnostic imaging and medical eye care, in addition to routine eye examinations and optical dispensing. The optical dispensary has an extensive range of premium eyewear, and only highest quality optical lenses are dispensed from our on site lens laboratory.
There are 7 optometrists, a lab manager, and up to 8 other staff working in the practice.
Qualifications & experience
- Reception, retail and healthcare experience are all advantages
- Optometry/eyecare/optical experience even better
- Customer service experience preferred
- Good basic maths and English essential
- Professional personal presentation,
friendly manner and ability to work as part of a diverse team
Tasks & responsibilities
- General reception and customer service
- Assisting with patient pre-testing scans
- Assisting patients with spectacles and sunglasses
- Other roles available depending on applicant skills and interests
