Proudly operating since 2000, Arisit is a 100% Australian Owned distributer of well-known premium kitchen, laundry and consumer electronic appliances across Australia and New Zealand, headquartered in Dandenong, VIC. As part of a new leadership structure, we are seeking a standalone People & Culture Manager to join our team and help drive our people, safety, and culture agenda across our business, with the support of our parent company's wider HR team in Sydney. This is a maximum term contract role of up to 12 months.

What You'll Do

You'll use your experience and pragmatic, hands-on and personable approach to support the new leadership with improving people process, driving culture change, and implementing health and safety initiatives across the business, including across our warehouse operations and 70+ team members. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR practitioner to take a leap into a P&C; Manager role, providing you independence and ownership but with backing and support from other HR professionals in the Company's business network.

You will

- Partner with leaders to improve leadership capabilities and provide support on all people matters.
- Identify and lead improvements to the processes and policies for employee lifecycle events and health and safety.
- Lead end to end recruitment, onboarding, performance, learning, compliance, and safety processes and initiatives, and support the payroll officer to deliver effective payroll services and process.
- Build trust and embed the P&C; role within the business, growing and maintaining a positive, inclusive and high performance culture.




- Work confidently with existing HR systems and help drive the implementation of the new HRIS.

Who you are: You are a capable, business-oriented HR professional seeking variety, autonomy, and a real ability to make change impact. You take a calm and pragmatic approach to solving problems and interacting with a wide range of stakeholders.

You will also

- Hold tertiary qualifications in HR/IR or equivalent;
- Possess proven experience in HR Business Partner or ER/IR roles, with ideally 7+ years across various HR roles;
- Demonstrate strong hands-on experience interpreting Modern Awards, and with a comprehensive knowledge of the Fair Work legislation and best practice.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of health & safety legislation and best practice.
- Be able to write and present documents and presentations leveraging multiple communication styles, with the ability to influence and coach stakeholders at all levels.
