About the Agency
This is an independent creative and strategic agency built to help ambitious businesses grow.
The agency brings brand, creative, media, digital and performance together under one roof. It does not see brand and performance as competing disciplines. The strongest marketing does both: it builds the brand over time while delivering measurable commercial results today.
The agency is now looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to bring that thinking to life across paid media - and help shape the next stage of its performance capability.
The Role
This is a hands-on role for someone who can plan, build, run and optimise paid campaigns across Meta, Google, LinkedIn and programmatic media - while always seeing the bigger commercial picture.
You will work across the full funnel, from awareness and consideration through to lead generation, conversion and remarketing. You will be as comfortable inside an ad platform as you are in front of a client, explaining what happened, why it happened and what should happen next.
You will work closely with strategy, creative, digital, media and account service teams to ensure campaigns never operate in isolation. Strong communication is essential. You must be able to translate complex tactics, platform mechanics and data into clear, useful direction for clients and colleagues.
What You'll Do
Turn strategy into action
Translate brand and commercial strategy into clear, actionable media plans.
Define channel roles, audience structures, budgets, bidding approaches, measurement frameworks and testing priorities around each client's commercial goals.
Set out what needs to happen now, what the campaign is designed to learn and how those learnings should shape the next stage of activity.
Build and optimise campaigns
Plan, build and manage campaigns across:
- Meta Ads
- Google Ads, including Search, Display, YouTube and Performance Max
- LinkedIn Ads
- Programmatic platforms
- Other digital channels where appropriate
Monitor performance closely and continually identify opportunities to improve results across audiences, creative, placements, bidding, budgets, landing pages and the broader customer journey.
You will ask more than, 'What is the CPA?' You will ask, 'Why is it happening - and what do we change next?'
Connect brand and performance
Develop full-funnel strategies that balance long-term brand building with short-term conversion.
Understand how awareness, consideration, search, social, remarketing and conversion activity work together, rather than treating every channel as a standalone campaign.
Optimise towards each client's long-term commercial goals, not short-term superficial metrics.
Turn reporting into direction
Own campaign reporting and performance analysis across your accounts. Turn platform data into transparent commercial insights that explain:
- What is and is not working
- Why performance is moving
- Why it matters
- What should change next The agency believes reporting should go further. Observations describe the result. Insights change the next decision.
Lead client conversations
Present campaign performance, insights and recommendations directly to clients. Make complex data simple, commercial and easy to act on.
Be confident challenging assumptions, explaining opportunities and helping clients decide where their next marketing dollar should go.
Work across the agency
Collaborate with strategists, creatives, media planners, developers and account teams.
Use performance data to create better briefs, stronger creative, smarter media decisions and, ultimately, better work.
What We're Looking For
You know your way around:
- Meta Ads Manager
- Google Ads
- LinkedIn Ads
- GA4 and Google Tag Manager
- Looker Studio, Databox or similar reporting tools
- Programmatic advertising platforms
- Conversion tracking and attribution
- Campaign reporting and analytics
You understand paid search, paid social, remarketing, audience strategy, conversion optimisation and full-funnel media planning.
Most importantly, you know how to run campaigns. This is not a role where execution is handed to someone else. You will stay close to the platforms, the numbers and the optimisation decisions.
You Might Be Right for This Role If You...
- Have 4+ years' experience in performance marketing or digital media
- Can independently build and manage campaigns across Meta, Google and LinkedIn
- Have experience with programmatic media, or are highly comfortable working in programmatic environments
- Understand the difference between optimising a campaign and improving the entire customer journey
- Can find the story behind the data and turn it into a clear recommendation
- Can confidently present to clients and challenge assumptions constructively
- Enjoy working with creative teams and know that the biggest performance gain is sometimes better creative - not another targeting adjustment
- Are commercially minded and understand that the job is ultimately to help clients grow
Why Join?
You will join an agency where brand, creative, media and performance are genuinely connected. You will have direct access to strategists, creatives and media specialists, rather than being expected to make performance marketing solve everything on its own.
You will also have the opportunity to shape the agency's performance capability and help define its approach to brand-led performance marketing.
The ambition is simple: build work that performs today and makes the brand stronger tomorrow.
If that is how you think about performance marketing, we'd love to hear from you.
