About the role

Masselos & Co Lawyers are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer with personal injury litigation experience to join our dynamic 10-lawyer team in our Sydney CBD office. As a Personal Injury Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal representation and support to clients in workplace injury , motor accident, and civil liability claims. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career development and growth within our growing firm.

Part-time candidates will also be considered.

What you'll be doing

- You'll have day-to-day carriage of personal injury files - workers compensation, work injury damages, motor accident, public liability claims and medical negligence claims
- Conducting in-depth client interviews to understand the details of each case
- Researching and analysing relevant laws, regulations and past cases to build a strong legal strategy
- Preparing and filing all necessary legal documents, including claims, pleadings and motions
- Instructing counsel and negotiating with insurance companies to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients
- Representing clients in court proceedings, including mediation, arbitration and trials
- Providing regular updates and support to clients throughout the legal process
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation for each case

What we're looking for

- A Bachelor's degree in Law and a current practicing certificate




- At least 2 years of experience working as a personal injury lawyer, with a strong track record of successful outcomes
- Experience in workers compensation/work injury damages matters
- Excellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Robust communication abilities, with the ability to effectively communicate with and advocate for clients
- A compassionate and empathetic approach when working with clients who have experienced injury or trauma
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple cases simultaneously
