Precision Labour Hire is currently seeking a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator to join a busy chemical manufacturing facility based in Lytton.
This role is primarily focused on manual handling (approximately 90%), with some forklift operation (approximately 10%). This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build their experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The Role
- Location: Lytton
- Roster: Monday to Friday
- Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Friday: 6:00am – 12:00pm
- Pay Rate: $33.50 per hour
- Hours: Approximately 38 hours per week
- Ongoing Monday to Friday work
Key Responsibilities
- Manual handling and general production duties
- Forklift operation as required
- Picking, packing and palletising products
- Conducting quality checks
- Labelling, sealing and preparing orders for dispatch
- Following workplace health and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Current Australian Forklift Licence (LF) – essential
- Previous forklift experience preferred
- Previous pick packing and manual handling experience
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling
- Reliable, safety-focused and able to work in a fast-paced workplace
- Own reliable transport and current driver's licence, as public transport is not available
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Availability to work the full Monday to Friday roster
