Looking for purpose and impact? We have plenty.
We're an Australian MedTech company with an ARTG-listed connected medical device, preparing for commercial launch and scale-up.
We're looking for a hands-on Product and Delivery Lead to help make it happen.
This role sits at the centre of product delivery in an experienced multidisciplinary team. Our novel product combines IoT hardware, embedded systems and cloud software. You will be responsible for running and coordinating the product day-to-day, ensuring things are planned and delivered properly.
You will work closely with our CEO, Lead Software Developer, engineers, manufacturing suppliers and Quality Manager to ensure product activities are delivered effectively and in line with established quality management processes and regulatory requirements.
This is not a purely managerial role. You will be expected to be directly involved in delivery and problem solving.
What You'll Do
- Own delivery of the product from production through release and deployment to customers.
- Manage production readiness with manufacturing partners, including supplier coordination, parts availability and resolution of production issues.
- Ensure hardware production, testing and release activities are completed prior to delivery
- Coordinate software releases with the Lead Software Developer, including planning, alignment with hardware and management of change impacts.
- Work closely with our Quality Manager to ensure product activities, changes and releases are undertaken in accordance with established quality and regulatory processes.
- Coordinate implementation of product changes and improvements through established change control processes.
- Work directly with engineers, developers and suppliers to resolve issues and keep delivery on track
- Track priorities, risks, timelines and dependencies.
- Step into issues when they arise and follow them through to resolution.
What We're Looking For
We're less interested in your past job titles and more interested in your ability to work with an experienced capable team, think practically, learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and take ownership of outcomes.
Experience in some of the following will be highly regarded:
- Hardware or physical products (IoT a bonus)
- Software systems or cloud platforms (AWS a bonus)
- Coordinating external suppliers, manufacturers or technical partners
- Running projects or delivery cycles end to end
- Operating in regulated industries or environments with defined processes and controls (e.g. ISO 13485, ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems)
Medical device experience is desirable, but not essential.
Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
You'll Succeed If You
- Enjoy solving problems and making things happen
- Are comfortable working with engineers, developers and suppliers
- Take ownership and follow things through to completion
- Have the attention to detail needed to operate in a regulated MedTech setting
- Prefer being involved in delivery rather than managing from a distance
In Your Application In your cover letter, please tell us about a complex technical product, system or project you helped deliver. What was your role, what challenges did you face, and how did you contribute to the outcome? Please limit your response to 300 words. We're interested in your own experience and communication style, so please do not use AI-generated responses. Why Join Us?
- Help bring an Australian-made, ARTG-listed medical device to market and into the hands of patients and clinicians.
- Work closely with experienced people who care about building great products.
- Work across software, engineering, manufacturing and quality.
- This is an opportunity to take on significant responsibility and grow into a key leadership role as the company scales.
- Help shape the future of a growing Australian MedTech company.
Most importantly, this is an opportunity to take ownership of something that matters. You'll have a direct impact on how our product is delivered, scaled and adopted, working alongside a team committed to building great technology and improving patient outcomes. If that sounds like your kind of challenge, we'd love to hear from you.
