The Selfie Hub is building a national network of professional photographers and we’re looking for reliable, experienced photographers to join our approved subcontractor network.
We’re not simply looking for photographers for occasional jobs.
We’re building a long-term creative network with a growing pipeline of work.
The Selfie Hub has ongoing advertising, continuous event enquiries and multiple business channels generating opportunities across Victoria and, increasingly, Australia.

THE LOCAL ADVANTAGE $60 PER HOUR — STANDARD SUBCONTRACTOR RATE
Where possible, we aim to match bookings with photographers within approximately 10km of their nominated home/base location.
That means less time travelling across the city and more opportunity to earn from local photography work.
You don’t need to spend your time chasing leads, negotiating with clients or managing bookings.
We generate the enquiry.
We manage the client.
We manage the booking.
You deliver the photography.
WHAT WE OFFER
✔ $60/hour standard subcontractor rate

✔ Regular opportunities as our booking pipeline grows

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for photographers who are:
✔ Experienced in professional event and/or corporate photography
✔ Reliable, punctual and professionally presented
✔ Confident dealing with clients, guests and event environments
✔ Able to work independently
✔ Able to professionally edit and deliver high-resolution images within agreed timeframes
✔ Available for weekend and occasional weekday bookings
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must have
✔ Minimum $10 million Public Liability Insurance + Certificate of Currency
✔ ABN / registered business
✔ Current Working With Children Check where applicable
✔ Professional camera equipment
✔ Professional portfolio
✔ Reliable transport suitable for carrying photography equipment
✔ Current Australian driver’s licence with satisfactory driving record
✔ Professional editing and delivery capability
✔ Willingness to sign The Selfie Hub Subcontractor Agreement
PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
Our photographers represent The Selfie Hub and must maintain client confidentiality and agree not to:
- Discuss The Selfie Hub pricing or subcontractor rates with clients
- Negotiate directly with our clients
- Approach our clients for direct work
- Bypass The Selfie Hub
- Establish direct commercial relationships with our clients
AN OPPORTUNITY TO GROW WITH US The Selfie Hub is continuing to expand across weddings, corporate events, hospitality, venues, brand activations, private events and content creation. We’re building a professional creative community designed around long-term partnerships, ongoing opportunities and mutual growth.
Photographers who establish a strong relationship with The Selfie Hub may also have the opportunity to participate in our broader Growth Partner network, creating additional earning opportunities through referrals.
