Role Description The Proposal Manager / Grant Writer at YET Consulting & Innov will lead the end-to-end development of grant applications and client proposals in a part-time, remote capacity. Daily responsibilities include identifying funding opportunities, analyzing eligibility and requirements, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather project information and supporting documentation. The role involves drafting, structuring, and editing proposals and grant narratives, aligning them with funder guidelines, organizational goals, and impact metrics.

The Proposal

Manager / Grant Writer will maintain a calendar of deadlines, manage submission processes, track outcomes, and refine proposal strategies based on feedback and results. The role also includes maintaining proposal templates, ensuring compliance with all instructions, and contributing to the continuous improvement of proposal processes and tools.

Qualifications

- Strong proposal and grant writing abilities, including clear, persuasive, and structured writing tailored to diverse funders and audiences.




- Experience with research and information gathering to identify funding opportunities and support evidence-based proposal narratives.
- Proficiency in editing and proofreading to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with funder and client requirements.
- Project management skills for coordinating inputs, managing timelines, organizing documents, and meeting multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with reliable communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with nonprofit, social impact, or consulting settings and an understanding of common grant and proposal formats is beneficial.
- Comfort with digital tools such as word processing, spreadsheet, and collaboration platforms; experience with grant management or CRM systems is a plus.

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, English, Public Policy, Business) or equivalent practical experience in grant or proposal development.
