About the Company
We're seeking an experienced Quality Consultant to join a major data centre construction project in the Hunter Valley Region. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of a large-scale, high-profile project, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout every stage of construction.
About the Role
Working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, you'll help drive quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across the site.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality assurance and quality control support throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality assessments, identifying non-conformances and supporting timely resolution.
- Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality documentation, and contractor submissions.
- Manage defect identification, corrective actions, and close-out processes.
- Maintain accurate quality records, reports, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to achieve quality objectives.
- Support client inspections, quality reviews, and project handover activities.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives and best-practice quality processes across the project.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- Construction White Card (essential).
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a Quality Consultant, QA/QC, or Quality Assurance role within major construction or infrastructure projects.
- Experience on data centre, commercial, industrial, or other complex construction projects is highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of construction quality management systems, ITPs, inspection processes, and quality documentation.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Pay range and compensation package
Location: Hunter Valley Region - Site Based
Duration: 6–12 months (With strong extension likelihood)
Rate: $19,000–$20,000 + GST per month
Engagement: Independent consultant structure to operate via Pty Ltd
