Vineyard Vet Hospital is looking for a friendly, compassionate and highly organised Full-Time Receptionist to join our team.

About the Role
As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you’ll play an significant role in creating a warm and welcoming experience. You’ll be responsible for providing excellent customer service while supporting the veterinary team with the day-to-day running of the hospital.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism
- Answering phones, emails and client enquiries
- Booking and managing appointments
- Checking clients and patients in and out
- Processing payments and handling cash/transactions
- Managing client records and maintaining accurate information
- Liaising with veterinarians, nurses and the wider team
- Assisting with general administrative and reception duties
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception area
- Providing compassionate support to clients during both routine and difficult visits
About You We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoys helping people
- Passionate about animals and their wellbeing
- Confident communicating with clients both in person and over the phone
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Calm and professional in a busy environment
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable multitasking and prioritising competing demands
- Previous veterinary reception or veterinary industry experience is highly regarded, but we are also open to the right person with strong customer service and administration experience
