Our client is a highly regarded Australian-owned engineering consultancy with a strong reputation across major and complex projects in the built workplace. As part of its next stage of growth, the business is establishing a stronger presence in Western Australia and is seeking an experienced engineering leader to build and lead its Perth operation.

This opportunity will suit someone who enjoys being close to clients, projects and people. You will take responsibility for developing the local market, building senior client relationships, winning work and establishing a high-performing team, while drawing on the broader technical capability, relationships and support of an established national business.

The key focus areas are on creating chance, solving problems with clients, leading engineering outcomes and building a team capable of delivering them.

You will be expected to bring strong technical credibility within structural engineering and major buildings, with the confidence to engage at the front end of complex projects,



shape solutions and represent the business with major contractors, architects, developers and institutional clients.

Your strong structural engineering and major buildings background, together with demonstrated success developing client relationships and winning work, will place you in an excellent position to capture what will be a sought-after opportunity. You may already be operating as a Director, Associate Director, Structures Leader, Business Unit Leader or similar senior leader within a major engineering consultancy and be ready to step into broader regional responsibility.

Your commercial acumen, ability to lead and build high-performing teams, and desire to influence strategy and shape a business will further strengthen your application. The opportunity will particularly appeal to someone attracted by the autonomy of running the state, while still benefiting from the scale, technical capability and support of a substantial national business.
