Your next career opportunity

You will support landmark studies exploring clinical trajectories and self-disturbance in young people at ultra-high risk of psychosis. Working across PRESCIENT, SNAP and related projects, you will build a strong research profile while contributing to evidence that can transform youth mental health assessment and care.

What you will deliver:

- Conduct structured research interviews and assessments with young people at ultra-high risk of psychosis across multiple Orygen sites.

- Collect, enter, check and manage high-quality study data in line with ethical, governance and Valuable Clinical Practice standards.

- Coordinate participant logistics, including transport and scheduling, and maintain strong relationships with headspace and clinical teams.

- Contribute to publications, conference presentations and broader dissemination activities arising from PRESCIENT, SNAP and related projects.

- Participate actively in project meetings, planning activities and committee work to support capacity-building within the UHR program.

You may be a excellent fit if you:

- Hold an undergraduate Honours degree in behavioural or social sciences, or a closely related discipline.

- Demonstrate strong interest in youth-onset mental health disorders and evidence-based mental health interventions.

- Apply quantitative and qualitative research methodologies confidently to clinical and psychosocial research questions.





- Contribute effectively to both independent and collaborative research in multidisciplinary clinical or academic settings.

- Bring experience, or a clear aptitude, for engaging adolescents and young adults in structured clinical research interviews.

- Possess a valid driver’s licence, can travel between sites, and are flexible for occasional after-hours or weekend work.
