Restaurant Floor Staff / Hospitality All-Rounder

Jonny’s Italian – Greta, Hunter Valley NSW Casual | up to 5 evening shifts per week

Jonny’s Italian is looking for one or two experienced hospitality professionals to join our close-knit team. The restaurant operates Tuesday to Saturday 5pm till late, candidates must be available during these times with mandatory availability on Friday and Saturday evenings.

We are an independently owned, busy Italian restaurant with a strong focus on genuine hospitality, excellent food and creating a memorable experience for every guest. We work hard, move quickly and enjoy providing warm, attentive service in a fun and energetic environment. Our immediate priority is experienced front-of-house floor staff. Confident hospitality all-rounders are also strongly encouraged to apply, and we welcome applications from reliable kitchen hands interested in joining our team.

About the role

Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:
- Greeting and seating guests
- Taking orders accurately and confidently
- Providing attentive table service
- Running food and carrying multiple plates
- Clearing, resetting and preparing tables
- Using the point-of-sale system
- Communicating effectively with the kitchen and other team members
- Maintaining a clean,



organised and welcoming dining room
- Assisting with opening and closing duties
- Helping in the kitchen or dishwashing area when required and appropriate to your role

About you

For our front-of-house and all-rounder positions, previous restaurant floor experience is essential. You will also need to be:
- Warm, friendly and confident with customers
- A clear and professional communicator
- Comfortable carrying plates and working at a fast pace
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
- Calm and organised during busy services
- A genuine team player who is willing to help wherever needed

Commercial kitchen experience is helpful but not essential. Kitchen-hand applicants without floor experience are still welcome to apply for potential back-of-house work.
