About the role

We are seeking a Retail Assistant to join The Lakes Supermarket in Ballajura, WA. This is a casual position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic retail team. As a Retail Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining the smooth operation of our store. This position is essential to ensuring our customers have a positive shopping experience every time they visit us. Hours available are Monday - Friday 4pm - 8.15pm.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting customers with enquiries and providing friendly, effective service at all times
- Processing transactions accurately and securely at the checkout
- Restocking shelves and maintaining product displays in a neat and organized manner
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting any discrepancies to management
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout the store, including aisles,



stockrooms and customer areas
- Handling and storing products in accordance with health and safety standards
- Operating store equipment safely, including tills and scanning systems
- Responding promptly to customer requests and resolving issues professionally
- Supporting the team during busy trading periods
