This is a hands-on retail position where you will often be trusted to manage the store on your own. You will provide warm, genuine and personalised customer service in a fashion boutique setting.
Key responsibilities
- Providing warm, genuine and personalised customer service
- Styling and assisting customers with fashion selections
- Confidently managing the store independently
- Processing sales and returns through Shopify POS
- Opening and closing the store
- Receiving, unpacking and merchandising recent stock
- Maintaining beautiful visual merchandising and store presentation
- Managing day-to-day tasks and taking initiative when working independently
- Helping create the relaxed, welcoming experience Watermelon Red is known for
About you
- Have previous fashion or boutique retail experience
- Have experience using Shopify and Shopify POS
- Are confident working independently and taking responsibility for the store
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Are reliable, organised and trustworthy
- Have a good eye for fashion, styling and presentation
- Are proactive and don't need constant direction
- Enjoy building relationships with regular customers
- Are comfortable with all aspects of day-to-day retail
