This is a unique opportunity to work within a small, alternative secondary school co-located with youth services in Pakenham- supporting young people who may not thrive in mainstream education.

You’ll be part of both the school community and the wider headspace team, working largely autonomously while staying connected to a supportive, multidisciplinary setting.

While this is a clinical role, your impact goes beyond the therapy room. You’ll take a proactive, trauma-informed approach to build trust, encourage help-seeking, and support young people attending Oakwood School.

You have:

- A tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or Counselling, and registration or eligibility for membership with AHPRA, AASW, ACA, or PACFA
- Strong engagement and relationship-building skills, particularly with young people early in help-seeking
- Advanced understanding of mental health, trauma, and issues affecting youth and their families
- Experience supporting young people disengaged from social activities, education and employment
- Confidence applying CBT, DBT, ACT or similar approaches
- Experience in case management/care coordination
