Our client, a well-established Brisbane hydraulic services contractor, has a major pipeline of work on the horizon, predominantly major hospital projects, and has created a brand new role in the business to ensure a premium product is delivered. We are seeking a a BIM Manager Hydraulic and/or MEP to manage and coordinate the drawings through the construction process.

This is a brand-new role. No handover, no inherited mess — just a blank page and the backing to build it properly. Hydraulic as your primary discipline is first prize, but if you've got a strong multi-disciplinary MEP background and genuinely excellent coordination skills, then lets talk.

You'll be the conduit — the person who translates between the client (usually the mechanical contractor), the design team here in Brisbane and offshore. Coordinating what actually needs to happen on the ground between stakeholders.

Managing timelines, managing deliverables, and keeping IFC design moving cleanly through to construction-ready Workshop Drawings and prefabrication, including shaping standard prefabricated assemblies so what's modelled lines up with what's actually built. It's a senior role and you won't be on the tools full-time — but when the team needs an extra pair of hands on Revit, you're in. We are looking for a 'team player'.

Reporting to the Design Manager, you'll work closely with the Pre-Fabrication Manager, Project and Site Managers, Estimators and Hydraulic Engineers — a genuine seat at the table, not a siloed drafting role.

Experience Required

• 7+ years' experience in a MEP BIM/Revit environment or similar role, ideally from a construction background
• Real knowledge of how a build actually goes together — not just how a model looks
• Confident communicating with clients and consultants
• Experience working with offshore teams
• Comfortable running the workflow from IFC design through to Workshop Drawings and prefabrication, and just as comfortable jumping on the tools yourself when it counts
• Office-based first and foremost — the coordination this job demands means being in the room — though some flexibility can be extended where needed. (We are happy to discuss your particular needs)
• Experience with Revit,



Navisworks, BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud and Dynamo essential.
