Operations Manager – Port Hedland

ABOUT THE ROLE

Goodline is seeking an Operations Manager to support the day-to-day performance of our Port Hedland operations. This role oversees a multi-disciplined workforce delivering construction and maintenance services across the region, with responsibility for coordinating delivery, administration and operational outcomes.

Reporting to the Divisional Manager, you will ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard, maintaining oversight of daily workflows, workforce coordination, reporting and job close out.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead day-to-day operations across multiple work fronts to ensure consistent delivery outcomes

- Coordinate workforce allocation, scheduling and daily priorities

- Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with client and business expectations

- Maintain oversight of job progress, ensuring timely completion and close-out of works

- Monitor operational performance and address issues to maintain productivity and quality

- Support and guide supervisors and crews to ensure consistent standards across all activities

- Maintain accurate operational reporting and administrative controls

- Drive compliance with HSE requirements and company procedures

- Support client relationships through reliable service delivery and communication

- Assist with workforce planning, recruitment and retention to meet operational demands

ABOUT YOU

- Proven experience in an operations or frontline leadership role within construction, mining or heavy industry





- Solid capability coordinating day-to-day activities across multiple work fronts within a 100+ workforce environment

- Well organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes to schedule

- Practical, hands-on approach with a focus on safe, efficient and consistent delivery

- Solid understanding of HSE requirements and operational compliance

- Confident managing reporting, documentation and general operational administration

- Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement, driving productivity and performance outcomes

- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with crews, supervisors and clients

- Reliable, accountable and consistent, with a strong focus on delivery and follow-through

- Relevant qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Business or a related discipline (preferred)
