Based at our Birkenhead site and reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, this hands-on field role is perfect for someone who wants to learn a trade-adjacent skill set, work outdoors, and grow into a technical career. No prior testing, lab, or construction experience required.

What you'll do

- Travel to customer and project sites to sample and test concrete and construction materials
- Carry out testing in line with Australian Standards (full training given)
- Record, report and communicate test results accurately and efficiently
- Maintain testing equipment, including calibration and basic maintenance
- Support the laboratory team with sample preparation and testing as required
- Follow all safety procedures, work instructions and company standards, and ensure quality standards and customer requirements are consistently met

What you'll need

- Current Australian driver's licence (essential),



required to operate the company-supplied vehicle, which you'll take home each day for work use only (personal use not permitted)
- A robust work ethic, reliability and a proactive attitude
- Ability and willingness to work across multiple sites and environments
- Good communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (training provided)
- A strong commitment to safety

Nice to have (not required)

- Construction White Card
- Certificate III in Laboratory Techniques or similar
