We are working with a successful and growing real estate business seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join their team. This is a fantastic prospect for someone who has the drive, confidence and people skills to succeed in sales, but may not yet have direct real estate experience.
You may already be working in sales, business development, retail, automotive, hospitality, recruitment or another customer-focused industry and be ready to make the move into real estate.
Direct real estate experience is not essential - attitude, work ethic and a genuine interest in building a career in property are what will set you apart.
The Role Working closely with an experienced sales professional and wider team, you will gain hands-on exposure to the full sales process while developing your skills and building your own real estate career.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Prospecting and generating new business opportunities
- Making outbound calls and following up prospective clients
- Building and maintaining relationships with buyers, sellers and local homeowners
- Assisting with open homes, inspections and buyer enquiries
- Conducting database follow-up and nurturing prospective clients
- Supporting appraisal and listing opportunities
- Assisting with sales campaigns from listing through to settlement
- Attending appointments and developing your knowledge of the local market
- Providing a high level of service throughout the sales process
About You
- A current Real Estate Certificate / Registration
- Previous sales experience — this does not need to be within real estate
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence speaking with new people and picking up the phone
- A proactive and self-motivated approach
- Strong organisation and follow-up skills
- A genuine interest in property and real estate sales
- A willingness to learn and be coached
- A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
