The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of retail duties in either our Bargain Buys Griffith or Treasure Hunter Griffith stores during the busy Christmas period from September through to January. This is a casual position with a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the potential for the right candidate to continue in a more permanent position after the Christmas period.
Key responsibilities
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Pricing and merchandising stock
- Light cleaning and maintaining a tidy store
- Balloon making and balloon orders — full on-the-job training provided
- Manual lifting, stock handling and general physical labour
- Assisting the team during busy trading periods
- Working as part of a team to ensure both stores operate efficiently
