SURTECO Australia is a subsidiary of a 130-year-old German group of companies who specialise in Decorative surfaces and edge banding. SURTECO Australia is involved in the development, design, manufacture, and sale of surface materials such as edges and foils, technical extrusion (profiles) and decorative printing.

Since 1984, SURTECO Australia offers locally manufactured polymer edges and technical profiles produced to German quality standard, besides the wide range of other SURTECO products.

The Role

Reporting to and supporting to the Sales Manager – Southern Region & QLD/NT, focusing on maintaining and developing solid relationships with our existing customer base. You will also seek new opportunities with cabinetmakers, joiners, and kitchen manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit customers on a day-to-day basis.

- Manage your customer base within a designated territory, which will include country runs

- Work closely with both the Sales Representatives within the state and the National Customer Service team to help support, develop, and grow your customer base

- Daily CRM and monthly reporting

- Follow and track project product specifications

- Meet monthly sales budgets

- Seek new projects and business opportunities

- Provide technical information to customers on SURTECO’s full product range





- Develop and implement call cycle plan for face to face customer visits

To be successful in this role you will

- Have over 5 years proven experience in sales, business development and account management

- Be motivated and passionate about your role with a strong can-do attitude and will to succeed

- Be team player and can work autonomously

- Ideally have prior industry and product knowledge within the cabinet making/ joiner industries

- Proficient in Microsoft 365, Salesforce and ERP systems

- Strong communication, organisation skills and negotiation skills
