We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver and Warehouse Storeperson to join our team in Fyshwick, ACT. This is a hands-on role combining warehouse operations with customer deliveries throughout Canberra and surrounding regions.
About the Role
As a Driver and Warehouse Storeperson, you will play an important role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed and delivered on time. You will be responsible for both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, helping to maintain our reputation for reliability and outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver customer orders safely and professionally throughout Canberra and surrounding areas
- Load and unload vehicles using forklifts and manual handling equipment
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Receive and check incoming stock against supplier documentation
- Operate forklifts safely to move and store products within the warehouse
- Complete delivery paperwork and company documentation accurately
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and basic vehicle checks
- Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries and customer interactions
- Support the wider team with general warehouse duties as required
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Current and unrestricted MR (Medium Rigid) Driver Licence
- Current Forklift Licence (LF)
- Full, clean driving record
- Previous experience in a Storeperson, Warehouse, Delivery Driver or similar role
- Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to perform manual handling and physically demanding work
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated attitude
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Basic computer skills
Desirable
- Experience delivering building, flooring or trade products
- Experience with inventory management and stock control
- Knowledge of Canberra and surrounding areas
- Experience using warehouse management systems
