Kareena caters for a full range of specialties including cardiology, orthopaedics, general surgery, colorectal surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, general medicine, geriatric medicine, rehabilitation, gastroenterology, plastic surgery, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, ophthalmology, paediatrics, respiratory medicine and vascular surgery. Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Enrolled (IV Qualified) Scrub Scout Nurse looking to make a difference in a friendly, collaborative environment? We are seeking motivated ENs to join our busy Theatre team.

About the Role

As a Scrub Scout you will play a dual perioperative role, alternating between prepping and passing sterile instruments directly to the surgeon at the operating table and managing the broader theatre environment, safety checks, and unsterile supplies from the periphery.

As a member of our clinical team you will be planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients.

About You




You will be a trained nurse with exceptional customer service, confident communication, and strong interpersonal skills. You will also demonstrate:

- Current registration with AHPRA (Enrolled Nurses)
- Medication endorsed and IV qualified
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in the perioperative space.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work a 7-day rotating roster
- Commitment to teamwork, patient safety, and professional growth.

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $36.19 - $39.40+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW EN gr1-g4 + thereafter)
