Coordinate demand, transport and delivery planning in a quick-moving logistics environment

We are seeking an experienced Demand & Logistics Planner to align customer demand, production, fleet capacity and delivery schedules.

Working with the client’s customer service and production team, internal stakeholders and drivers, you will create practical delivery plans, manage changing priorities and use data to improve service, utilisation and cost performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop daily, weekly and forward delivery plans.

- Match customer requirements with fleet, drivers, routes and delivery windows.

- Coordinate production, loading and driver departures.

- Optimise fleet utilisation, routes and delivery schedules.

- Monitor demand, inventory, transport and delivery performance.

- Report on KPIs including DIFOT, forecast accuracy, utilisation and cost.

- Identify risks, investigate issues and implement improvements.

- Support transport compliance, cost control and operational reconciliation.

About You

You will ideally have:





- Experience in demand, logistics, transport, fleet or supply chain planning.

- Experience in transport, waste, beverage or manufacturing environments.

- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.

- Knowledge of fleet capacity, route planning and delivery scheduling.

- Knowledge of NHVR, chain of responsibility, fatigue management and relevant transport requirements.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong analytical and systems skills with attention to detail.

- A practical, solutions-focused approach.
