I am currently representing a growing South East Queensland residential builder looking for a Safety Advisor to join their expanding HSEQ team.
This is a roving role, working across residential projects in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Toowoomba, with the support of an experienced Safety Manager.
The Role
- Work alongside the Safety Manager as part of a growing safety team.
- Rove between residential construction sites across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Toowoomba.
- Provide hands-on safety support across multiple projects.
- Conduct site inspections, safety observations and risk assessments.
- Review SWMS and monitor subcontractor compliance.
- Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety communications.
- Assist with incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions.
- Support the ongoing development of HSEQ systems and processes.
About You
We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including:
- Someone with residential construction experience looking to move into a dedicated safety role.
- A Junior Safety Advisor with some residential experience.
- Someone with Safety/HSE experience in another industry looking to transition into residential construction.
- Strong communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach to safety.
- Relevant WHS qualifications or training.
