MacKellar is continuing to grow its partnership with Aeris Resources on a developing mining project near Nyngan, NSW, and we’re looking for experienced Multi-Skilled Production Operators to join our team.
This is a great opportunity to secure long-term work on a growing mining project, with FIFO from Brisbane, camp accommodation and meals provided, and the opportunity to operate a modern fleet alongside an experienced team.

About the Role
As a Multi-Skilled Production Operator, you’ll play an important role in delivering safe and productive mining operations.
You’ll operate multiple types of heavy mobile equipment across the site, working closely with Supervisors and fellow operators to achieve daily production targets while maintaining high standards of safety, equipment care and operational performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating Haul Trucks and Dozers
- Operating at least one additional production machine, such as Graders, Water Trucks, Loaders or Excavators
- Completing pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
- Identifying and reporting equipment faults and operational issues
- Operating equipment safely and efficiently in line with site requirements
- Working as part of a team to achieve production targets
- Following site safety procedures, standards and operating requirements
- Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and equipment care
What You’ll Bring
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Previous experience operating heavy mobile equipment in a production mining environment
- Proven experience operating Haul Trucks and Dozers
- Experience operating at least one of Graders, Water Trucks, Loaders or Excavators
- Relevant RII competencies and/or verifiable operating history
- A strong commitment to safe and responsible equipment operation
- Ability to work effectively in a production-focused team
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to meet all site access and pre-employment requirements
- Flexibility to work a 7/7 rotating day and night roster
