About us
Ramtech Computing is a Sunshine Coast-based managed IT and cyber security provider. We’re a small, experienced and enthusiastic team that takes pride in delivering secure technology solutions and genuinely great service.
We’re known for having a supportive, down-to-earth culture where people enjoy working together. We believe excellent support requires the right balance of technical ability, communication and ownership. We also know that a relaxed and enjoyable workplace helps our team deliver their best work.
Qualifications and experience
We’re looking for an experienced, client-facing IT professional who:
- Is an “expert generalist” and enjoys working across a broad range of technology
- Has strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune experience
- Understands device management, identity protection, access controls and cybersecurity
- Has experience with RMM and remote support platforms
- Is familiar with endpoint protection, EDR, application control and security monitoring tools
- Has experience supporting backup solutions and responding to infrastructure, availability and security alerts
- Understands business password managers and secure credential management
- Has solid networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls and VPNs
- Communicates well with users, managers and business owners
- Is organised, reliable and takes ownership of client issues
- Holds a current Australian driver’s licence and has access to a reliable vehicle
Previous MSP experience would be highly regarded but isn’t essential. Experience with Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, virtualisation, PSA/ticketing platforms, cybersecurity frameworks or relevant industry certifications would also be well regarded.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Resolve Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 support requests
- Provide remote and onsite support to our clients
- Administer and secure Microsoft 365 environments
- Manage users, devices, identities and security policies
- Manage and monitor endpoint protection, application control and other security tools
- Investigate and remediate security, infrastructure and availability alerts
- Support Windows, networking and client infrastructure
- Assist clients at all levels, from everyday support through to technical projects
- Maintain explicit documentation, ticket notes and client communication
The role
This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position based from our Noosaville office, unless working onsite with a client. Some travel to client sites is required, so a current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are essential.
We offer a market-competitive salary based on skills and experience, varied technical work and the opportunity to join a relaxed, supportive team with a genuinely good workplace culture.
