About the role

Rolling Stone Group Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Cabinet Maker / Solid Surface Fabricator to join our team in Welshpool, Western Australia.

This is a full-time position with a strong focus on solid surface fabrication, including the manufacture and installation of solid surface benchtops, countertops, vanities and other custom applications.

Previous solid surface experience is highly regarded but is not essential. If you are an experienced Cabinet Maker with solid practical skills, attention to detail and a willingness to learn, we are happy to provide training in solid surface fabrication techniques.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or experienced Cabinet Maker looking to expand their skill set into solid surface fabrication and installation while working on a variety of commercial and residential projects.

What you'll be doing

- Fabricate solid surface benchtops, countertops, vanities and other custom components

- Measure, template and prepare solid surface materials for fabrication and installation

- Cut, shape, join, glue, sand and finish solid surface materials to a high-quality standard

- Create seamless joins and professionally finished edges and surfaces

- Operate fabrication equipment including routers, saws, sanders, CNC machinery and other workshop equipment

- Read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications and measurements

- Complete detailed finishing and quality-control work before products leave the workshop

- Install completed solid surface products, benchtops and cabinetry on site

- Carry out adjustments and finishing work during installation to achieve an accurate fit

- Work closely with other fabricators, cabinet makers, installers and project managers

- Maintain a clean,



organized and safe workshop

- Follow workplace health and safety requirements at all times

- Assist with handling, loading and transporting fabricated products to site

What we're looking for

We are particularly interested in applicants with a Cabinet Making background who are interested in developing their skills in solid surface fabrication.

Ideally, you will have:

- Experience as a Cabinet Maker, Joiner and/or Solid Surface Fabricator

- A Cabinet Making or Carpentry qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience

- Strong practical fabrication and hand-tool skills

- Experience operating woodworking machinery and workshop equipment

- Ability to accurately measure, cut, assemble and finish materials

- Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings

- High attention to detail and pride in producing quality finished work

- Good problem-solving skills, particularly when working with custom products

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Good communication and time-management skills

- A strong understanding of workshop and site safety

- Current driver's license

- Physical ability to safely handle materials and completed products

- Strong English communication skills are required, with the ability to clearly understand and follow workplace instructions, safety procedures and technical requirements.
