This is a Warehouse & Trade Sales Representative role combining warehouse operations and trade sales. You will spend a couple of days each week in the warehouse and factory environment, and a couple of days on the road developing relationships, supporting customers and identifying new business opportunities. This role is ideal for someone equally comfortable managing stock and dispatch, as they are meeting customers, conducting site visits and growing sales.
Key responsibilities
Warehouse & Operations
- Receive, store and handle raw materials safely and efficiently
- Batch, blend and prepare products for customer delivery
- Operate warehouse equipment
- Manage inventory and maintain accurate stock records
- Coordinate deliveries and dispatch schedules
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse setting
- Assist with product deliveries and customer support when required
Trade Sales & Business Development
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across the concrete, precast and construction sectors
- Support customers with product application advice and troubleshooting
- Manage customer enquiries and provide exceptional service
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver customer solutions
- Represent the business at industry meetings and events
- Contribute to the ongoing growth of the NSW business
About you
- Experience in warehousing, manufacturing, industrial products, construction materials or a related environment
- A current forklift licence and driver's licence
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Strong communication skills
- Confidence engaging with customers
- A proactive and self-motivated approach
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
- Good computer literacy and attention to detail
- A practical, hands-on attitude and willingness to get involved wherever needed
