- Supporting incident response by carrying out assigned containment and evidence-gathering steps under direction
- Executing scheduled patch cycles and actioning straightforward vulnerability remediation
- Assisting with build and configuration tasks on client deployments

- Keeping documentation current and following established processes
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years' experience in a service desk, IT support, or cyber security role — or a relevant qualification backed by demonstrable hands-on lab experience
- Solid understanding of Windows and Microsoft 365 fundamentals

- Awareness of common attack types, including phishing and malware
- A basic cyber security certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-900, or equivalent)

Nice to have (not essential):
- Study or qualifications in cyber security, from a Certificate IV through to a Bachelor or Master
- Further certifications such as OffSec SEC-100 or Cisco CCNA Cybersecurity
- Experience in an MSP or multi-client environment, or exposure to tools like ConnectWise Manage, NinjaOne, InsightVM, KnowBe4, or ThreatLocker
Why Join Emerging IT
- We fund and support your growth into further industry-recognised credentials as you progress
- A defined progression pathway into a Cyber Security Analyst role
- Work alongside experienced analysts who'll mentor you from day one
- Exposure to a broad platform stack across a genuine multi-client MSP environment
- Based in Melbourne or Sydney
